Text description provided by the architects. The architectural project for the new store of the traditional Rio de Janeiro jewelry brand Amsterdam Sauer was developed by Estudio Tupi, alongside the lighting design developed by Estúdio Carlos Fortes, in line with the brand's new positioning. The new visual identity, which adopts the name SAUER, is inspired by the art of jewelry making as an international métier, driven by the energy of a family business immersed in Brazilian culture. Conceived by Tadzio Saraiva, it joins the architecture of Aldo Urbinati and Andrea Vosgueritchian, leading Estudio Tupi, and the lighting design by Estúdio Carlos Fortes, to represent the company's history and Brazil's colorful visual universe, referencing the first stones discovered by its founder, Frenchman Jules Sauer. Colorful Brazilian gemstones inspire the new spaces. Emerald green becomes the brand's signature color, materializing on the facades and the totems displaying the gems, art objects, and jewelry.
