Text description provided by the architects. The national hydro system in Bicaz – Stejaru on Bistrita River has been active for 50 years, being the first Romanian hydro station. ZIP & BDX Studio was commissioned to design the new Visitors’ facility to celebrate its anniversary - including new gateway and on-grade parking, and as hydro and alternate power educational center and related activities.
