Text description provided by the architects. The housing models of the BCH neighborhood were designed by the Bogota-based firm Cuellar Serrano Gomez, one of the leading firms of the modern movement in Colombia and authors of projects such as the El Dorado Airport, the San Carlos Hospital, the Ecopetrol Building, and the CAD, among others. Gabriel Serrano Camargo (1909–1982) led the design, proposing a two-story middle-class housing model with a front garden and a backyard.
