Text description provided by the architects. Contemporary life is essentially urban, and the city is the stage for our daily relationships and experiences. It is vital to value neighborhoods where daily life can unfold on foot, and where driving is an option rather than a necessity. The streets, shops, services, leisure—the city is an extension of our home, and also of our identity, acting as a mirror that reflects who we are and what we believe in. For this project, Petrópolis was chosen: a typically residential neighborhood with easy access and an excellent central location, which over time has acquired a cosmopolitan flair by hosting shops and services that serve as an extension of the home.
