Text description provided by the architects. This project is characterized by the delicacy of its intervention. The existing house was originally commissioned from Oscar Niemeyer's office, but was designed and signed by Carlos Lemos in the early 1950s, and has been preserved to this day with few alterations. The renovation and expansion to adapt it to its new function as an office and study center sought to maximize the preservation of the original architecture, both internally and externally.
