Text description provided by the architects. A workspace for entrepreneurs in the heart of Madrid, this project aims to provide a humanized refuge for networking activities rooted in local tradition. The project involved the renovation of a former administrative building that was highly impersonal, narrow, and deep. The client needed to adapt the interior volume for a new use: a coworking space for social enterprises and a branch of the global company Impact Hub, which has more than 100 offices in 50 countries. The client requested an inspiring place for their vibrant community, and we provided space for 180 people, along with meeting rooms, lecture halls, and event spaces distributed across four floors.
