Text description provided by the architects. The Wanfenglin Stone House is located in a mountain village within Wanfenglin, in the southeastern part of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. The local karst topography has shaped a unique vernacular landscape of undulating peaks, which once led the Ming Dynasty geographer Xu Xiake to marvel, "Of all the many peaks in the world, only here do they form a forest."
