Blue Note São Paulo is a branch of the traditional New York jazz and blues club, with venues in New York, Napa, Hawaii, Milan, Beijing, Tokyo, Nagoya, Rio de Janeiro, and now São Paulo. Entrepreneur Luiz Calainho, who is responsible for several cultural projects and holds the Blue Note brand rights in Brazil, alongside six other partners, chose Paulista Avenue and the Conjunto Nacional building to host Blue Note São Paulo.
