Text description provided by the architects. Located in northeastern Misiones (Argentina), within the municipalities of Andresito and San Antonio, this is one of the province's main nature reserves. It covers an area of 84,000 hectares (over 207,000 acres) which, together with the 65,000 hectares of the Iguazú National Park, constitutes the primary remaining vestige of what was once the Atlantic Forest; in neighboring Paraguay and Brazil, this ecosystem has been displaced by the expansion of the agricultural frontier.
