Text description provided by the architects. Located on the cold slopes of Gramado, in southern Brazil, the Concreto E18 House embodies the meeting between contemporary Uruguayan architecture and the cold mountain aesthetic characteristic of Rio Grande do Sul. The terrain, surrounded by native vegetation, demanded a solution that balanced presence and integration—a house that would stand out for its form while remaining in dialogue with the natural surroundings and the intense mountain climate.
