Text description provided by the architects. Palenque House is located on San Francisco Island, 4.3 miles (7 km) from Valdivia. The project combines functionality and aesthetics, featuring an 18 x 6.5-meter volume suspended on stilts. With 45-degree gabled roofs and a maximum height of 7 meters, this 1,490-square-foot (138.5 m²) building is designed under DFL2 standards, offering flexibility for future modifications within its open floor plan.
