However, it is common to create solutions even before fully understanding the underlying issues of the project. When this happens, the design becomes fragile and vulnerable to questioning and changes, and at the first breeze, it can turn upside down. Therefore, understanding the real problems means creating a solid foundation for building ideas. For this to occur, the design team's capacity for self-criticism is fundamental. We must empathize with the people who will live and coexist with that architecture, even if it forces us to destroy our own ideas.
