Designing spaces that flow: materials and textures for a flexible, sensory, and conscious architecture

Focusing on driving new ideas, creations, and proposals that set a new standard in contemporary architecture, each edition of Proyecto 10 de 10 by Porcelanosa México is conceived as a platform to explore and apply materials in innovative projects. Designing from the essentials and creating without imposing, the search focuses on an architecture that respects the rhythm of its surroundings, evolves over time, and connects deeply by creating spaces that breathe through natural materials, honoring their essence, texture, and origin. Beyond the aesthetics of the materials themselves, integration with the environment, textures, colors, and the relationship with natural light all shape the sensory experience of the spaces.

Under the philosophy of designing spaces that flow, the fifth edition of Proyecto 10 de 10 serves as a space for memory and gratitude. It aims to look back to recognize shared challenges and achievements, while also addressing the present and future to inspire new generations and discover how built work can become inspiration for what lies ahead. As a contemporary design manifesto that sheds rigidity and embraces constant transformation through fresh perspectives, textures, shapes, and design languages, this space for inspiration, creation, and community builds a bridge between generations. By showcasing projects from the first edition alongside those from 2025, it brings diverse visions and ideas together on the same stage.

At Porcelanosa, we firmly believe in the value generated by each architect and in the dialogue between generations and experience. Our goal is to promote, through initiatives like this, new voices in Mexican interior design and architecture that are gaining strength, bringing fresh and renewed perspectives that enrich the entire industry. In this space, we all learn and we all teach. Connections are born here that will become future projects by prestigious architects, future firms, and future benchmarks of design in Mexico. – Alfredo Enríquez, Managing Director, Porcelanosa México
