Ana García, architect and founder of NeuronaLab, recently interviewed Aureli Soria-Frish from the company Starlab. They discussed how the latest technological advances are increasingly being used to objectify neural activity and the emotional states associated with architectural spaces. Below, she shares her key reflections.

One of the disciplines closely linked to spatial perception and the cognitive states we experience within the spaces we design as architects is neuroscience. In recent years, technology developed by research teams has revolutionized its fields of application. This is the case with Starlab, a company located on Barcelona's Tibidabo mountain. Aureli Soria-Frish, Director of the Neuroscience Unit, met with me to explain some of their recent studies in neuroscience research.
