Archivo de Ideas Recibidas is an interdisciplinary research and dissemination project that seeks to document and connect the ideas of individuals contributing to the contemporary creative ecosystem from the fields of art, design, and architecture. It is built on conversations between the team and various creators, exploring themes related to memory, academia, cultural context, key influences, and working methodologies.
Previously, they shared an interview with architect Sandra Barclay of Barclay & Crousse, featuring reflections on working remotely from France: "the possibility of looking at Peru with different eyes." In the same vein, they also introduced another Peruvian architect, Rafael Freyre of Estudio RF, commenting on his travels to Indonesia: "it was like arriving in Peru, a fictional Peru. This is closer to Peru than Europe is. I can understand things better; I can see things closer to where I live." Later came a sort of international symbiosis: Chilean architect Rafael Zamora of LLONAZAMORA, an architecture and landscape studio based in Lima since 2009, co-founded with Peruvian architect Michelle Llona R. The latter shared that "a teacher teaches what they love."
In this context, we also have the interview with Juvenal Baracco, architect and educator, who noted that "when something happens, there is a why and a why not, which makes me deeply contrarian toward events; I always try to turn things around, to find the hidden discourse behind any affirmation or negation. This has led me down an open path, and honestly, I don't know where it will end."
