Workshop Project: Interviews on Making and Teaching How to Make Architecture

Proyecto Taller is a documentary series that aims to debate, reflect on, and examine architectural teaching and learning methods, seeking to define their points of contact and overlap with professional practice. Within this ambiguity between making and teaching how to make architecture, many architects have managed to integrate their careers as designers with their work as educators in academic environments, where they teach students how to design.

The goal of Proyecto Taller is to interview design architects who are also educators, exploring their design processes and teaching methods. What does it mean to teach design in today's context? What is the role of the educator in training students? How is knowledge transmitted? How does professional practice relate to teaching? These are some of the questions guiding the series' conversations.

Additionally, at the University of Flores, where he directs a research project titled Tectonic Construction of Space, he has served as director of the architecture program since 2009 and as vice dean of the Faculty of Socio-Environmental Planning since 2018. At both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, his work focuses primarily on the physical construction of architectural space.
