After at least five years of study, the time comes for architecture and urban planning students to complete their final graduation projects—often referred to as thesis, graduation, or capstone projects. In choosing their topic, students highlight civil, urban, or theoretical proposals that are highly relevant to fostering discussions about the future of our cities, the built environment, urban infrastructure, mobility, and many other topics essential to evolving the way we inhabit space.
Completing these projects requires a significant effort in data collection, research, and design development to solve major challenges. Since they are not always recognized as they deserve, we launch an annual call to showcase the best work by students from Portuguese-speaking countries, helping them reach a wider audience and inspire others.
If you believe your graduation project is relevant and deserves to be discovered by other students and professionals, please read the guidelines below and share it with us using the form. You can also explore the selected projects from previous years — 2016, 2017, and 2018 — for further inspiration!
