Using sections, perspectives, and axonometric drawings, architect Carlos Valarezo has represented key works of contemporary Ecuadorian architecture from recent years, communicating and highlighting the main characteristics of each project and its relationship with the viewer.
'This project is a graphic representation exercise based on illustrating works of Ecuadorian architecture. Each illustration brings to the foreground a diagram that reflects the most relevant aspect of the built work; from there, elements are added that balance the composition, but are primarily symbols that help the observer situate themselves in different environments depending on the case, for example cubes can signify a distant artificial landscape and leaves can place us in a location with abundant vegetation.'
