Ten commandments for creating better cities

In his book *Ten Ways to Design a City*, Catalan urbanist Joan Busquets outlines a decalogue of what he considers the best approaches for intervening in cities to make them more dynamic, sustainable, and better places to live.

Briefly, they are as follows:

Constructing buildings with urban synergy—that is, structures capable of driving major urban transformations in their surroundings and reshaping the city's overall image. The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao is perhaps one of the most iconic examples of this type of building.
