Text description provided by the architects. The increase in visitors to southern European capitals has led to greater urban pressure, real estate speculation, and a consequent lack of permanent housing for locals looking to settle in central areas of the cities. In light of this issue, the proposal offers both a possibility and a reflection: a confirmation of the architect's role in the social issues affecting cities. Consequently, the project addresses the conversion of an art gallery, located in a historic neighborhood of Lisbon, into a residential space.
