Text description provided by the architects. Casa Ônix was conceived in the garden adjacent to the main building of Casacor SC 2018. The existing vegetation featured trees and shrubbery of various sizes and tones; creating a space that maintained a relationship of respect, integrity, and interaction with this environment was our starting point. In response to the site, we chose to create a green refuge for our project. The concept of the house is to serve as a sanctuary of balance and safety (removed from urban bustle), which is why its name, elements, and colors reference the Onyx stone—known for restoring and channeling energy.
