Text description provided by the architects. The renovation requested for this 1,600-square-foot (150 m²) apartment, located on the 19th floor of a building in the Petrópolis neighborhood of Porto Alegre (RS), was not to undergo major structural changes, at the request of the client couple. The main premise followed by the firm 0E1 was to modernize the residence in a minimalist style with selective use of color, ensuring a lived-in atmosphere without the need for extensive demolition.
