Text description provided by the architects. The rich aesthetic blends the contemporary urbanity of the partners with the cozy atmosphere of a countryside grandmother's house. The cane webbing panel, dark wood furniture, encaustic cement tiles, ferns, and decorative plates on the wall are all nods to Minas Gerais grandmothers, forming part of the shared emotional memory of the local culture. The café’s name is a tribute to the grandmother of one of the owners.
