Text description provided by the architects. There are encounters in life that confirm we are in the right place at the right time. Meeting these clients was one of them. The phase our firm was going through aligned perfectly with this couple's moment in life. The invitation to design the renovation of an original, modernist apartment in a southern superquadra in Brasília demands a great deal of sensitivity. The beauty of Brasília's history is right there, and it must not be lost under any circumstances during the major undertaking of a renovation. In designing the 185-square-meter apartment, we brought greater connection between the spaces. Originally a three-bedroom layout, we reorganized the proportions into a guest bedroom with a guest bathroom and a master suite complete with a walk-in closet and bathroom.
