The design synthesis for the ATH60 residential building stems from the creation of a volume carved out by a lightwell patio, enabling a functional layout for the apartments located at both the front and rear of the block. The public and private spaces are arranged across the 10 levels that make up the project. The site is a standard single lot between party walls in the Chacarita neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The building is situated amid a formal and material heterogeneity, a result of the different construction periods and styles that coexist in the neighborhood.
