Text description provided by the architects. The Itinerary Apartment was conceived as a flexible design for a studio apartment of only 32 square meters (344 square feet) in the Perdizes neighborhood. Utilizing only custom millwork and metalwork, the project sought to adapt to the client's needs and her varied daily activities. The cabinets and vanities were designed under the premise that the space would be used temporarily. The design of the elements responds to this reality, with the creation of eight interlocking modules that can be easily removed and transported to another location whenever necessary—making it truly itinerant and giving the project its name.
