Text description provided by the architects. The Wander Houses were developed based on the concept of “Wander” (to roam, stroll, travel,…). The design of this project emerged in response to the lack of freedom we experience today. Traveling gives us a temporary illusion of freedom, and the Wander Houses aim to reassure us that we are still free to travel, to have new experiences, while still enjoying the comfort of our own home. When we think of a permanent dwelling, we do not usually associate it with this concept, which is why this 24-square-meter prototype house was created. We aim to cultivate a minimalist lifestyle, detached from the traditional and forward-thinking. These houses can be taken anywhere, set up on any terrain, or even expanded through the addition of new modules.
