Sports Complex / Giancarlo Mazzanti + Plan:b arquitectos

This sports complex, designed as a new geographical configuration within the Aburrá Valley, was built to host the 2010 South American Games. The building consists of a self-supporting tubular steel structure supporting a 45,000 m2 roof that unifies the four independent buildings (coliseums) and the surrounding public spaces.
