Text description provided by the architects. V+J House is the story of a modern young guy living an active lifestyle. The living space will be a place that reflects the person, his work, and every hobby he pursues - everything will be organized in its right place and still fully express the spirit that the owner wants to bring. As a house located on Tran Dang Street, Da Nang, the V+J house was built on an area of 100m2 - with 3 floors serving a family of 3 generations living here.

The first impression of V+J will definitely be the strong beveled lines that clearly show the personality of the owner. The idea of an obliquely cut functional block that is "suspended" in the middle of the facade of the house emphasises the visual effect of the whole concrete material block, creating a different feeling and being a solid highlight for the house as well as an unforgettable imprint for any visitor passing by.

Entering the house, we can completely feel the modern space, with extremely high interior finishing. Throughout the first floor is a continuous kitchen-dining block as the center of the space. A small lake was designed at the entrance of the house, firstly to solve the problem of air convection, bringing freshness into the house, and secondly, it is also one of the favorite hobbies of the owner raising Koi fish. The living room-kitchen system of the house is painted with dark gray tones to bring a modern feeling, and the audio-visual equipment and kitchenwares are carefully selected with a very high investment to satisfy the next passion of the owner for high-tech gadgets.

The end of the first floor space will probably be a small highlight of the house as well as a personal display space of the owner. It is a small, light-filled studio where the owner can make his own projects or display his collectibles. The stairs are discreetly designed, creating a sense of flow in the living and kitchen space and transferring gently to the 2nd floor - the personal spaces of the whole family.

Once again, the interior style is changed to emphasize the function as well as the personality of the user but still keep the overall harmony for the house. Here, as mentioned in the previous section, is the highlight of the house with a concrete block carrying the function of a working studio, where the owner will spend most of the day for his specific IT work. The requirement is to be modern, fully ventilated, full of light, and inspirational to work in. To solve this problem, the architect used creative diagonal cuts and raw concrete materials to create accents for the room in addition to intimately connecting with the skylight. The user can take one step to go straight from the office to the trellis system here to relax as well as regenerate working energy.

The other functions of the house are also suitable for a young family of four to enjoy the most comfortable life. Along with many sides being exposed to natural light and wind, the house also offers a healthy and friendly living environment. All requirements of the house with the core is the enthusiasm and desire to bring the owner's personality into each design have been met like that at V+J house.
