Text description provided by the architects. In Tupi-Guarani, "taba" means city and "etê" means important or large. The chosen location to house the activities and exhibition space for a family of visual artists was Jardim Tabaeté. A characteristic of the neighborhood was a typical two-slope house with an ancillary building on a generous lot.
