Text description provided by the architects. The lot on which the project was to be sited was a portion of the garden of an old estate located in the residential neighborhood of Martínez, San Isidro, an area characterized by an abundance of vegetation. Nature was undoubtedly the host of the site, and we wanted to preserve the feeling of being inside that lush garden from which we began planning. This was our design premise, enhancing the play of light and shadow offered by the surrounding tree canopies.
