Aonni Mineral Water Plant / Bebin & Saxton

Production Laboratories and Administrative buildings / Roberto Puchetti, Max Rengifo
The new Vaccines Production Laboratories and Administrative buildings of the Venezuelan National Hygiene Institute “Rafael Rangel” are part of a group of new buildings within the Ciudad Universitaria de Caracas. The project started as a competition organized by the architecture faculty of the Universidad Central de Venezuela and included a shortlist of emerging architecture studios (read more…)

Feco-Forum / LRO Architekten
The new feco-Forum building in Karlsruhe was erected in a faceless industrial area. The structure is divided into three parts: the ground-floor and first-floor accommodate a show room and office space. More office rooms, used exclusively by another firm, are located on the second floor. To allow for this situation, a staircase was conceived for completely separate use. And finally, at the very top, an elongated floor plan affords a wonderful view of the hills to the east, just beyond the highway (read more…)

Umur Printing / Nevzat Sayin
Transforming a steel production building, this already was started to construct, to a printing building, by almost doubling the usage area. The project can be defined as reinforcement of the existing building and enlargement with annexes for needed capacity. This work is a good example for dealing with the complex program of a press industry in an already existing construction mend for another function (read more…)

Water Filtration Plant / C+S Associati
An infrastructure is thought as a landscape design project. Located in the Nortehrn Lagoon Park north of Venice, on the southeastern edge of Sant’Erasmo island, the new water water filtration plant is part of the general urban and environmental upgrading of the island that the Magistrato alle Acque di Venezia is implementing through the Consorzio Venezia Nuova, within the context of a programmatic agreement between the Magistrato alle Acque di Venezia (read more…)
