The basic challenge was how to develop a project that maximised the small lot, optimizing the number of units and other areas, while generating an architectural language that was unique within its sector. The key design ideas were to obtain flexibility and cost effectiveness, within a contemporary and unique building (thus mitigating the disadvantage of a project with few sellable units, as a result of the site). The potential buyer was offered choice, as the building accommodates / subdivides into varying apartment modules (in both horizontal and vertical planes), ranging from one bedroom units to three bedroom apartments.

Brad says:

That is one handsome background building! Sophisticated and draws you in instead of shouting at you.

Olly says:

The interiors seem to have some quality, but why is the exterior so terribly bland? They could have shared with the surroundings some of the quality invested on the inside.

Agreed. The exterior is quite terrible, looks like every other apartment block around lower/middle class suburbs here in SA. The interior is a complete contrast though…almost seems like a different project.

Where is the north? The dining room of the apartment on the left side on the fourth floor seems messed up by the columns…
I would like to know how the parking space works
