Inventare la Natura Urbana Competition

personaggi_01_WEBThe competition is dedicated to the innovation of green in urban areas. Participants can be creative professionals (landscape architects, designers, architects, planners, artists, and associations) as well as students (schools of horticulture, landscape design, architecture, etc.).

The competition theme is the creation of innovative proposals for the creation of small urban areas, a terrace, a roof, balcony, walls, windows and any other city in the “Garden” theme. Particular attention will be given to projects that will appeal to the jury’s senses (fruits, edible flowers, aromatics, etc..) The maximum area to be developed is 15 m2. The research and the originality to invent new ways to experience nature in the city, merging environment and aesthetics, using lighting and furnishings, and tips for eco-gardener, ideas for recycling, etc. The best project in each category will receive the Innovation Award 2010.     To invent new jardinées forms, the technicity and inventiveness professionals and students are needed.

    The demonstration mobilizes the creativity and know-how of the gardens and landscape – horticulture and nursery gardeners, designers and entrepreneurs landscape – but also designers professionals are confirmed or young talent through the competition innovation .

    A SINGLE CHALLENGE

    Invent forms and ways of life related to garden in the city of tomorrow: urban natures.

    TWO THEMES

    “Small urban natures”

    Proposing innovative solutions to develop and give life to a terrace, a roof, a balcony, a wall, a window, and any other space jardinable in the city. Particular attention will be given to projects that will appeal to our senses (fruits, flowers edible, aromatic, etc.) The maximum surface build is 15 m2.

    “Tools, objects and tricks of tomorrow”

    Invent ways of living nature in the city, combining environmental and aesthetic quality: tools to cultivate, accessories, lighting fixtures and furniture, objects and tips for the eco-gardener: recycling eco water, composteurs, recycling ideas etc.

    WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

    Innovation contest is open to two categories of participants: professional creators (landscape, designers, architects, town planners, artists, associations) and the student (School of horticulture, landscape, design, architecture, etc.).

    All disciplines with their sensitivity and expertise are put to contribution to produce these achievable practical innovations right now. Responses proposed by teams of different configurations are possible and even suggested.

    Manufacturers, distributors and editors of design are not allowed to enter the contest but can participate in the event as an exhibitor or a partner (information and folder on request).

    TWO AWARDS FOR EACH CATEGORY:

    The best project of each category, all themes confused, will receive the prize Innovation 2010.
