There are some projects that allow us to think the family inhabit from inserting links generated by the space, by architecture. The appearance of the void / patio receives and introduces us into the inner world of private space, and detains us in the materiality of the wall allowing the contact with the street.

Thus the house defines its spatiality from daily bond with the library, the celebration of reading is inserted into a vertical space that integrates variety of uses in the property. The architecture confines us to live with others, the family presence is manifested in the daily use of the stairs.

It is the light that defines and bathes in a subtle manner the environments of the dinning room celebrating the family ritual defining its contour faceted in its materiality that generates glances and atmospheres that allow us the relationship with de private.

The architecture celebrates the housing, linkages, the rituals and especially makes it possible to think of the dwell in the privacy of the world family.

I love this house. The spacial treatment helps to keep the living areas from seeming ambiguous, as so many modern open plan houses do–rather, there are real rooms here. There is a distinct character that is consistent throughout the design, without it seeming overworked.
