Office interior in a former bicycle factory from the 1890s, in central Stockholm.

In 2007, Rotstein Arkitekter relocated. The new office is in a listed industrial building from the 1890s.

The architects used the building’s original features to create a unique office space.

The high ceilings allow for a demountable room, containing two separate conference rooms, in the middle of the floor. A series of meeting points have been created, with varying degrees of openness, in which the visual contact with the rest of the office is maintained. The stained black floors allude to the building’s original, dark and robust industrial floors.

The office interior builds on cost effective components and customised details in strategically selected places.
