Restructuring and expansion of the National Business School “ ENC Bessieres”, located at the place of the old Paris’ fortifications, between the “boulevard Bessieres” and ” rue Rebière” is the complete redevelopment of existing buildings, the demolition of some buildings and the creation of new buildings (administration, library, amphitheatre, exams room, meeting rooms and lecturer offices, …).

Pol Abraham carried out the original building from 1953 to 1955, particularly the 7 levels Academic Building and the restoration building at ground floor on the “boulevard Bessieres”. Given the extent of the changes undergone by the building since the ’50s, and the new data program and technical requirements, it wasn’t possible to restore an original state (furthermore unknown), but rather to form a new coherent system that integrates the diversity of existing and new buildings, and preserves the quality of buildings and original spaces: repetitive constructive et distributive system of the big teaching building, regular façades, quality of the interior courtyard-garden with beautiful trees.
