Andrés Jaque: "Architecture Is Always Political"

In the context of the XX Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism in Chile, we spoke with the Spanish architect Andrés Jaque, founder of the Office for Political Innovation. In a conversation named Lucha Libre Jaque argued that "all architects are politicians" by default and the real question is what forms of policy we are willing to defend.

Chilean Architecture and Urbanism Biennial Announces its List of Participants

The XX Chilean Architecture and Urbanism Biennial through its theme “Unpostponable Dialogues” invited academics, professionals, activists and the public sector from across the world to reflect on the matters that we have put aside in the construction of our cities and that are now pressing.

International Open Call: XX Bienal de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de Chile 2017

Colegio de Arquitectos de Chile and the XX Bienal de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de Chile curatorial team, invite international professionals to participate in the exhibition, to be held a second consecutive year at the Parque Cultural de Valparaíso. Aspiring towards a biennial open to citizens rather than closed to the discipline, the biennial is titled “Diálogos Impostergables”, and for the first time will include citizen's initiatives.
