Advances in Architectural Geometry (AAG) is a conference where both theoretical and practical work linked to new geometrical developments is presented. It involves architects, engineers, computer scientists, mathematicians, software and algorithms designers and contractors. We aim at connecting researchers from architectural and engineering practices, academia and industry. IIA Southern Regional Conference aims to address complexities in design for eco-sensitive regions

The fifth edition of the Biennale svizzera del territorio concludes on Saturday, November 30, with a day full of activities at Villa Saroli Park in Lugano, combining craftsmanship, architecture, and collective reflection.

· The establishment of a representative library as a landmark in Pyeongtaek will serve as the city's knowledge hub and a comprehensive collection center for local resources, playing a central role in building collaborative networks.
· We aim to create a user-centered library that serves as a living room for citizens and a multifunctional cultural space, flexibly responding to the rapidly changing society and reflecting the diverse needs of the community.
By building a future-oriented library, we will introduce spaces and services capable of adapting to the latest technological trends.

Open House Thessaloniki returns on November 23 and 24, bringing the city’s architecture to life with over 70 open buildings and a variety of parallel events. This year, the festival focuses on “Accessibility and Inclusion,” promoting architecture that is welcoming, functional, and open to everyone. With free guided tours led by dedicated volunteers, visitors will have the opportunity to explore Thessaloniki’s rich architectural heritage and contemporary designs that shape the city’s landscape today.

Jeffrey Huber:
Jeffrey Huber, FAIA, ASLA, NCARB, LEED AP, WEDG is a principal and manages the South Florida studio of Brooks + Scarpa. In addition to practice, Huber currently serves as a Professor of the School of Architecture at Florida Atlantic University. He holds master's degrees and licenses in both architecture and landscape architecture. A distinguished architect and landscape architect, Huber's work specializes in public realm projects that combine ecological, landscape, urban, and architectural design. He has advanced sustainability initiatives in soft cities, agricultural urbanism, green school design, missing-middle housing, transit-oriented development, low-impact development/green infrastructure, and adaptation/transformation design methodologies to address emerging and future climate disruptions.

The Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM) in Antwerp is planning a comprehensive redevelopment of its site to create a future-oriented campus that integrates and enhances scientific, medical, and educational activities. For this, it is collaborating with the Vlaams Bouwmeester through an Open Call procedure (OO48), in which designers can apply until November 11, 2024.

Concéntrico, in its aim to initiate new formats that respond to urban transformations, presents a call for proposals with Logroño City Council and LIF 2002, Logroño Integración del Ferrocarril, within the framework of the strategic plan to face heat waves in the city of Logroño. The aim of this call is to create a permanent urban climate island, which will be located around the lake in the Felipe VI Park on the terracing that forms a hexagonal square.
