The Media Architecture Biennale features keynotes, workshops, symposia, panels, awards, and exhibitions based in Toronto with additional programming online. The event aims to offer a platform for communities of research and practice concerned with media and the built environment. MAB23 will bring together students, academics, and professionals from architecture, art, design, urban planning, media and communication, urban informatics, interaction design, and public policy to share new ideas and shape this evolving field.
International Design Competition for Museum of Sciences of Rome
A two stage architectural Competition for the development of the future Museum of Sciences of Rome (MSR), conceived by the Scientific Technical Commission chaired by the Nobel Prize winning Prof. Giorgio Parisi. The museum is the final part of a broader redevelopment program program that has been involving, since 2013, a dismissed military infrastructure in via Guido Reni.

Main Rendering of the interior space that can be expereinced
An exhibition based on the studies of Los Angeles Chinatown will be on display at 949 Chung King Road from 01/14/2023 till 01/22/2023. The exhibition showcases different series of work done by Chieh-Ting Chuang. Chinatown is a recognizable architectural style that has been copied in every major city. This strong adaptive trait of Chinatown can not only be transformed into exterior spaces but also can be carried to interior domesticities. While the creation of the original Chinatowns is all based on the autonomy of the builder and owners of the era, this project explores the autonomy using modern technology and media.
Building Black Success Through Design (BBSD) is a FREE 12-week mentorship program offered through the Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design at the University of Toronto. This program is for Black high school students (Grades 9 to 12) who are interested in Architecture and Design. The goal of the program is to inspire Black students to pursue excellence and innovation within design industries and academia, enhancing diversity within the field and therefore building Black success through design.

An essential solution to improve the quality of life is to reconnect architecture with emotions and feelings. Architecture is the main element of our environment. Architecture has an impact on emotions followed by behaviour. As the architectural space changes, humans act, think, and feel differently. It is important to architect human emotions of positivity, to create an environment that reduces negative emotions.
The third edition of the LIV Hospitality Design Awards is now open, accepting entries until the 31st of January 2023, into its two major categories: Architectural Design and Interior Design. The program is open to architects and interior designers around the world who have created incredible projects in Hospitality. The LIV Awards program is an inclusive platform, pursuing exceptional projects within the living and eating spaces, from coliving, boutique hotels to beach resorts, from fine dining restaurants and lounges to pop-up bars.
