En mayo de 2005, the next ENTERprise y la oficina de paisajismo Land in Sicht ganaron el concurso para la reestructuración contemporánea del parque histórico y para el diseño de un pabellón al aire libre. El pabellón se concibió como un hito urbano, un polo de atracción para el parque y, al mismo tiempo, un destacado espacio de conciertos para la música clásica durante la temporada de festivales de verano.
