The purpose of this call is to create an artistic or expressive work that represents and gives form to the competition's interpretive scope.

The Municipality of León, through the León Municipal Housing Institute (IMUVI) and the León Municipal Planning Institute (IMPLAN), invites students, faculty, and professionals to participate in the Second National Ideas Competition: Intra-urban Housing and Park Solution. The goal is to develop a conceptual design proposal for a high-density social housing complex and a neighborhood public park within a consolidated urban area in the city of León.
Driven by the vision of redirecting how we plan and manage cities, we invite you to participate in this rethinking process by submitting conceptual proposals for intra-urban social housing. These proposals should integrate public and green spaces, utilizing best practices in architectural design, innovation, and sustainability to ensure healthy neighborhood coexistence, equal access and opportunity, freedom from discrimination, and safe, affordable, and accessible housing for lower-income groups in society.

As part of the 11th National Landscape Architecture Congress, the Mexican Society of Landscape Architects, ITESO through its School of Architecture, and the Institute for Habitat Improvement of Tlajomulco invite all undergraduate students currently enrolled in programs related to landscape architecture, architecture, urban planning, and related fields to participate in an international competition centered on the theme "Urban Oases." Form and void are inseparable concepts in Japanese culture. This course proposes an analysis of selected architectural works, supported by the aesthetic notion of Ma, to explore different conceptions of space-time in Japan. The course aims to present the conceptual, spatial, and material aspects of these projects to foster an understanding of the potential relationships between form and void, as well as to approach the void as a form of potential rather than an absence. The course is intended for anyone interested in architecture and Japan in general.

A sustainable, reforested timber pavilion featuring 24 photographic and typographic panels will be installed in the heart of Praça Mauá from September 8 to October 17. The exhibition, Future Now – Revisiting Earth Architecture, offers new perspectives on the challenges of contemporary architecture and addresses urgent global issues. The showcase provides an architectural experience that bridges the latest in high-tech innovation with one of the oldest building materials—earth (such as clay and mud)—and its contemporary applications.

The 7th edition of Open House Madrid will take place from September 24 to 26. The international architecture festival offers guided tours of a hundred spaces in Madrid that are typically closed to the public. It is the premier open house event for Madrid's architecture.

We invite everyone to the second meeting of the event "Latin American Conversations: Design Processes," organized by the extension project "Design Processes of Contemporary Architects," coordinated by Prof. Ana Gabriela Godinho Lima, in partnership with the collective "Arqtetatlas." Models and drawings are essential tools for understanding architecture; they reveal the form and physical expression of buildings. This exhibition brings together a collection of models that, having previously been displayed to represent architectural works, were placed in the care of the Belém Cultural Center. Much like the buildings they represent in miniature, these models have been weathered by time, which has left its mark upon them. Twenty years after their initial presentation, they serve as treasures that reveal more than mere reflections of an era.
