Debates In Conflict in Venice: No State Council & Caring Assemblies

The Official Portuguese Representation at the 17th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia presents two new panel discussions to be held at the Portugal Pavilion for the 2021 Biennale Architettura, located at Palazzo Giustinian Lolin.

On September 23 at 11:00 am, 'No State Council' will bring together artist Ângela Ferreira, historian and writer Gérard Lambert, and architects Paulo Tavares (Brazil) and Rui Mendes (Portugal) for a discussion organized and moderated by visual artist Fernanda Fragateiro and architect and professor Jorge Carvalho.

On September 24 at the same time, Bartlebooth (Antonio Giráldez López and Pablo Ibáñez Ferrera) will present and moderate 'Caring Assemblies,' featuring researcher Cátia Faria, the Husos office, architect and anthropologist Isabel Gutiérrez Sánchez, and architect and curator Mariana Pestana.
