A theoretical and practical course on Green Infrastructure Urban Design. Through case studies and group project development, students learn key concepts and tools for implementing Green Infrastructure.

"Luz en movimiento" is a workshop designed to expand the artistic and professional horizons of visual artists, designers, advertisers, and musicians through the creation of audiovisual content using Modul8. The workshop also includes an introduction to Madmapper software.

The Santa Cruz College of Architects (CASCZ) has presented the seventh edition of the Santa Cruz International Architecture Biennial, which will take place from March 23 to 29, concurrently with the International Architecture, Construction, and Design Fair (FICAD). This lecture proposes a return to the essential principles of architectural practice—principles often compromised by globalization—with the aim of creating works that strengthen the connection between the user, the site, and time. It highlights the elements that define the specific context of each architectural project and examines how these factors shape the corresponding design response. The workshop’s design methodology is illustrated through a series of built projects featuring typologies and scales familiar to the average architect.

The workshop "Encounters with Chance: Collage and Creativity," led by @mariarecorta, invites participants to immerse themselves in an experimental exploration of chance through collage and creativity. It is a space designed to break patterns, open new doors, traverse unexpected spaces, seek alternative paths, and discover the evocative power of the fragment.

Beyond the romantic content often ascribed to its political-social aspect, resistance is an ambivalent condition. Because it depends on an external entity, it is not an autonomous condition; that is, it only appears in relation to an outside. It does not exist without something to resist. It is an opposition to forces that, as such, implies taking a stance from which that opposition is exercised. Thus, there can be resistance to aspects as disparate as the status quo or change.

Simbiotika and Archmotion present the Portfolio Cycle featuring Urzúa Soler Arquitectos, a firm that seeks to enhance the spatial experience through design and construction. Their approach focuses on material development, structural modulation, the creation of intermediate spaces, and the pursuit of an architectural form that expands the possibilities of each commission. By consistently considering use, program, expression, and context, they develop habitable works that resonate with their users.

Festival Castro Abierto announces its second edition for March 28 and 29. This free cultural event in the Chiloé archipelago aims to become a benchmark for the mediation and dissemination of architecture, landscape, and heritage, with the goal of promoting community participation in the construction of their environments.

In its seventh edition, the "Italian Design Day"—an initiative promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs through its global diplomatic-cultural network—will be celebrated in Rio de Janeiro with a series of events organized by the Italian Cultural Institute, in partnership with the Consulate of Italy, the Triennale di Milano Foundation, PUC-Rio, and the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED).
