From November 28 to December 7, the pioneering film and architecture festival in Chile and Latin America returns to an in-person format after six years, inviting audiences of all generations to join an enriching intersection of perspectives and expressions.
The ARTNOVA Gallery, located on the 2nd floor of Fábrica Bhering in Rio de Janeiro, will open the exhibition TODO LUGAR É PASSAGEM (Every Place is a Passage) on Saturday, November 2, 2024, starting at 2:00 PM. The exhibition reflects on the multiple meanings of movement and displacement in contemporary life. Among other themes, the works on display address the complexity of migratory phenomena, urban mobility, and the distances we travel in search of opportunities and experiences.
To launch the “20th Meeting of Indigenous Writers and Artists,” two panel discussions will be held on November 6, 2024: “Indigenous Literature Today” at 9:00 a.m., featuring Indigenous writer Daniel Munduruku, and “Indigenous Literature as a Tool for Decolonization and Transformation in Education” at 11:00 a.m., with Indigenous poet Márcia Kambeba. These free lectures will take place at the Macunaíma Auditorium in the Institute of Letters at the Fluminense Federal University (UFF). As material remnants of political failure, economic speculation, and social decline, these ruins have become essential to many contemporary cultural narratives. The project is funded by the Paulo Gustavo Law through the Ministry of Culture, with support from the Americana City Hall, via the Secretariat of Culture and Tourism.
