WHAT IS MAU?

The Architecture and Urbanism Moment at the Federal University of Paraíba (MAU-UFPB) is an annual, non-profit event organized by students in collaboration with the Academic Center for the Architecture and Urbanism Program (CACAU-UFPB). It aims to foster participatory and democratic discussions regarding the proposed theme within the field of architecture and urbanism. The event is structured around various activities planned according to specific themes, organized into discussion circles, lectures, workshops, experiential sessions, and conferences. Much like the National Federation of Architecture and Urbanism Students (FeNEA), the event aims to foster a creative, innovative, collaborative, human-centered, and socially conscious education, with the goal of expanding student participation as citizens within the student movement and as future professionals.

International Competition: "Building for the Education of the Future" in the Innovation Park, Argentina

From October 4 to November 25, the call for entries for the International Design Competition for the "Education of the Future Building" will be open. The project is to be built based on the master plan designed for the Innovation Park in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

This open, single-stage competition is open to all architecture professionals wishing to participate. The goal is to develop a landmark building for the city that, from a contemporary perspective, addresses diverse needs, demands, and requirements, positioning the Innovation Park as an urban hub. The competition seeks an architectural proposal that fosters entrepreneurship, science, technology, and the generation, attraction, and development of innovation, knowledge, and talent in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

DIMENSIÓN, the Festival of the Built Environment, is a two-day event featuring interactive workshops and keynote lectures by renowned international speakers who will share their knowledge and experience to support the professional development of the real estate industry. Guayaquil, Ecuador, hosts the event, which culminates in a real estate industry awards ceremony followed by a networking session, fostering new relationships and business opportunities. DIMENSIÓN aims to become a benchmark for the real estate industry across Latin America.
