International Competition: "Post-COVID-19 Markets" in Lima, Peru

The 'Ideas en Pandemia' and 'Proyecto Perú' initiatives, in collaboration with the Municipality of Lima, have launched a significant effort to bring together diverse civil society actors and local government to address the current challenges facing food markets in the country, specifically in the La Victoria district. This effort promotes formal dialogue between civil society, public agencies, the private sector, and academic institutions in Peru and Latin America to reflect on and resolve shared regional issues.

BAQ 2020 Biennial Competition: Call for projects and publications

The 2020 Pan American Biennial of Architecture of Quito has opened its call for entries for projects and publications completed in the four years leading up to each edition. Over its twenty-one editions, the Biennial Competition has received more than 7,000 submissions and recognized contributions to the practice of architecture, urbanism, landscape, theory, and architectural dissemination.

The Journal of Traditional Building, Architecture and Urbanism is aimed at individuals and institutions interested in traditional building, architecture, and urbanism. Published articles address the theory and practice of these disciplines. Furthermore, it seeks to foster a deeper understanding of traditional construction cultures worldwide, thereby encouraging greater respect for them and contributing to their preservation and continuity.
