Experiencing Le Corbusier – Contemporary Interpretations of Modernism

The Museu da Casa Brasileira, an institution of the São Paulo State Secretariat of Culture, will open the exhibition 'Experiencing Le Corbusier – Contemporary Interpretations of Modernism' on Saturday, June 16, at 2:00 PM.
Curated by Pierre Colnet and Hadrien Lelong of Cremme – Editora de Mobiliário, through the Instituto Cremme—an association committed to social, educational, and artistic spheres through the promotion of cultural activities—the exhibition explores Le Corbusier’s thinking beyond the boundaries of architecture.

National Seminar on Urban Policy: For human, just, and sustainable cities

Renowned Brazilian architects and urban planners, including Paulo Mendes da Rocha, will gather in São Paulo for two days in early July. Alongside approximately 300 other professionals, they will work to draft the "Charter of Architects and Urban Planners to the 2018 Election Candidates, in Defense of the Right to the City"—a long-standing and permanent agenda for the profession since the first Brazilian Congress of Architects, organized by the IAB in 1945, which marked the definition of social function as a priority in the field.

Mies TV presents: Biennale 18, a documentary about Venice

For the third consecutive time, the international producers at Mies. TV gathered in Venice to film a documentary on the opening of the 16th International Architecture Exhibition at the Venice Biennale.

Lecture "Mass timber skyscraper: the timber revolution reaches industrial architecture"

The construction of timber buildings will be the subject of a meeting at the Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP) next Friday (March 23), from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Consolidated as one of the most significant events hosted by the Escola da Cidade – Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, the International Seminar reaches its 13th edition with the theme "Architecture is a way of knowing."
