There are unavoidable issues in architectural practice. One of these is considering the "program" a project will have. Although it is almost always taken for granted, both the definition of the word and its impact on a project can lead to countless interpretations and variations. This edition of the Architectural Culture Lecture Series [CCCA] explores various practices and projects through this lens, aiming to reflect their overlooked complexity.
Spanning 9 hours and held on Tuesdays—December 4, 11, and 18—the course "Great Themes in Architecture: Cities" will be taught by Professor Heloisa Dallari, an architect with a PhD in Architecture from the USP School of Architecture and Urbanism, a professor of undergraduate and graduate courses at FAAP, and a lecturer and consultant in Interior Design.

The event will take place from November 23 to 26 in Vitacura, at the Parque Arboleda Lo Curro project by Inmobiliaria Paz, a building designed by the renowned architecture firm Izquierdo Lehman. As in the last two years, the fair will be divided into four sections, three of which (Focus, Planta, and Nave de Ediciones) will be curated. Together, these sections will feature works by more than 300 national and international artists. Furthermore, the initiative will feature various talks organized by the Fava Foundation and Paz Corp, designed to serve as a platform for visibility and interaction for the artists participating in the tenth edition of the Ch.ACO Fair, as well as to provide an introduction to public art and architecture. A highlight is the presentation by National Prize winner Luis Izquierdo, the architect of the project hosting the fair, which is scheduled for Saturday the 24th at 4:00 PM. Parque Arboleda Lo Curro, the center of the exhibition, is a modern and avant-garde project built on thick pillars that rise across four hectares of green space. The placement of the buildings was specifically designed to house a large central park, developed by the prominent landscape architect Juan Grimm—a space that inspires and gives its name to this project.
