Accoya® takes top seat in Dubai

Accoya was chosen by Szonyi for its impressive environmental credentials and ability to cope with constant reconfiguration by visitors. Following the success of the bench as a public seating installation in Dubai, the design is now being manufactured under the name, Ido, by French urban furniture firm Aubrilam, experts in equipping private and public outdoor spaces.

Accoya® bench designed and created by architecture school

The Faculty of Architecture at the University of Manitoba has maintained a strong history that is geared towards more traditional ways of working with wood and processes of manual production. Accoya allowed for the weaving together of tradition and technological means of craft and had been chosen for its lightweight properties, material stability and ease of use.

The Patioset Collection, designed by Bertjan Pot for Weltevree

Accoya has been chosen as the ideal material for an iconic garden collection by Dutch designer Bertjan Pot. Weltevree wanted a maintenance-free material, grown in sustainably managed forests with no added toxins, and all the qualities of hardwood. Accoya was also chosen due to its luxurious appearance when used in high-quality design.
